        - Need someone to writeup a technical description on what we need to build the robot sumo demonstration
  • A brief overview of the Sumo Regulations can be made on a poster to hang up for the exhibit.
    Robot Mouse Race

        - Need someone to writeup a technical description on what we need to build the robot mouse race demonstration
  • Dan Roganti is preparing a technical description which will include a feature description and functional operation.
  • Among the options outlined in the Mouse Maze Design Workbook , we determined the 4x8 Grid pattern is the optimum size to use. This was based on maze complexity and how much challenge it would still offer without having the demonstration consume too much time.
  • From the options outlined in the Maze Construction Design Workbook, the option we chose which offered the simplest and affordable way to construct the maze was Type 3.

        - Need a volunteer to arrange the display stand, keep a list of robots, make the display signs
  • Mike Timko offered to get the poster printed on the large size printer
  • Mike can find skirts for the display tables which hold the Sumo ring and Mouse Maze.
  • Dan found plastic display sign holders, 5"x7" for listing the technical info on each robot.
  • One item we need to think about are 'giveaways'. It's been customary at SciTech that exhibitors have free giveaways for the students that visit their booth and participate in the interactive demonstration. At the moment we can only consider something that is very inexpensive but something that has the look of a tech gadget (even if it is only surplus)
        - anything else ?
